The Virtual Work Experience program provides people aged 13 or older with workplace experience in the health and care sector, develop new skills and boost their employability. 

The program provides a comprehensive overview of various career opportunities within adult social care, including key elements, sectors, and duties associated with this field of work. It will delve into frontline care positions as well as essential support roles, offering an excellent grasp of the inner workings of social care. 

By participating in virtual work experience you will: 

  • Experience a flexible, interactive and informative virtual work experience placement 

  • Gain understanding of the health and social care sector and the range of employers and job roles available. 

  • Develop digital skills, learn how to motivate yourself, manage your own time and how to stay on task, whilst working independently 

  • Complete and experience workplace mini activities, projects and quizzes  

  • Receive a certificate on completion to help build your CV and personal statement. 

All programmes are free to apply and available to anyone over the age of 13 and over, living in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
